„A BEETLE-Driver knows HOFFMANN SPEEDSTER“ - that’s what at least most of our customers assume.

HOFFMANN SPEEDSTER has more than 18 years of experience of service, reliability and innovation – and not only in the beetle-scene. People rank us among the biggest and most efficient suppliers in Europe regarding the VOLKSWAGEN brand.

It started with the development and production of accurate Beetle-conversion kits and plastic add-on components like fenders, hoods, running boards and similar.

A determining idea was to innovate and produce the Speedster-conversion kits for the German market; the inspiration came from the USA – like for many other extravagant things. In 1998 the attraction was the Speedster II which went into production and made headlines in both national and international press and television.

Proportioned to the continuous increasing demand as well as for spare parts and accessories for the Beetle our company is constantly expanding.
We occupy more and more with individual development, building and production of Beetle parts, further more to import and export those.

Of course we are eager to buy the very best parts for your beetle, which is not easy because of being reliant on the manufacturers for the matter of quality. Especially the Far Eastern and Brazilian ones cause problems from time to time, therefore you can’t always compare quality standard of these goods with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). With remakes and new productions of several parts we succeed to fill the supply gaps in spare parts and accessories.

On more than 4500 sq.m. there are working 15 employees and we are able to offer you almost everything for your Beetle. Repair panels, wearing parts, Beetle conversion kits, seats, rubber seals, carpet kits, steering wheels and miscellaneous accessories: we are improving our range of products and stock.

The above mentioned spare parts are just a small extract of our wide delivery program which you can find in our entire Beetle catalogue.

The internet version of this catalogue is translated into 4 languages and yet the resonances from many different countries have shown us that the Beetle still is one of the most popular and most known classic cars with young and old.

That is the reason why we have built a high-rack storage of 1700 sq.m. in 2003. With the upgradet warehouse capacity we could optimize our stock turn and delivery service.

Also during the last years we have intensively focussed on the other VOLKSWAGEN types as Golf, Polo, VW-Bus Type 2 and Porsche. Nowadays we offer for those cars a broadly based range of wearing parts and accessories in our extended showrooms, in our catalogue and in the internet, too.

In 1993 our first catalogue appeared with spare parts for VW-Bus Type 2 from 1967 up to 1979 and also in this area we keep looking after more parts to enhance the range.
